We offer a range of classes & workshops for people of all skill levels, so regardless of your experience, you will find a session that is right for you.

Each studio offers a slightly different focus: If pottery wheel throwing & clay workshops are for you then Bishton has the best offering;
Curborough offers paint a pot but we have a fantastic large party room space on our
Mezzanine floor to suit bigger groups.
Handmade Pottery at Bishton Hall – Pottery Classes
Our weekly open studio sessions operate Thursday daytime, Thursday evenings & Friday daytime. These are student led and need to be pre-booked.
On Saturdays we operate drop in sessions for the studio. It does become quite busy so pre-booking is possible if you want to guarantee your space.
We also have a pottery wheel which can be booked during studio sessions.
Paint a Pot at Curborough – Pottery Studio
We have a fantastic range of ready made paint your own pot pieces. Prices vary based on the piece. We operate 2 hour slots at 10am, 12pm & 2pm daily between Tuesday and Sunday. Bookings are available via this link:
Parties and group bookings
Whether it’s a corporate break out team building session, a birthday, hen/stag, kids party or just an excuse to get together and have a celebration, we can make sure that you have a lot of fun relaxing with clay.
These sessions are a great fun way to spend quality time with a group of friends/family/colleagues.
We will tailor your session just for you. We can arrange a led session where everyone creates similar objects or we can run the session where everyone makes something different.
The most important thing is that you will have fun and create something ceramic you are truly proud of. All of your work will be fired and glazed. We can also offer a small buffet at an additional charge (minimum of 6 people).

Please note: You can either pay the full amount upon booking or pay a NON REFUNDABLE deposit and pay the rest of your fee at a later date – must of paid in full 7 days before the course is due to start. Any questions please do ask. CANCELLATION BY YOU: Should you need to cancel your booking your cancellation must be received in writing at least 14 days prior to the event. A full refund will be made of any fees paid. WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS A REFUND FOR CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED LESS THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT COVID – in the event of cancellation of the workshop due to Covid-19 you will be credited with a voucher that can be used for a future workshop of your choice.
